It was an attempt to make me doubt myself, to make me feel small enough to just sign the lines and stop asking questions. But when you shine a light into the dark corners of their operation, the narrative falls completely apart. I demanded to see the specific APR breakdown and the details of the Capital One hard pull. Suddenly, the slick communication turned into a brick wall. Jay claimed they were "unable to share the rate or application over text." Let it be known with absolute certainty: there is contractually and legally zero reason a dealership cannot provide a required Truth in Lending APR disclosure to a consumer. They weren't protecting a process; they were protecting a lie. While they were stonewalling me, the truth leaked out from the one place they couldn't control: my direct credit alerts. Estero Bay Chevrolet never even submitted my application to Capital One. While they looked me in the eyes and blamed my credit score, they were secretly shopping my identity behind my back to TD Auto Finance, Wells Fargo, and Fifth Third; hunting for a lender that would allow them to maximize a massive, hidden interest rate markup and pack my contract with invisible junk fees. They are running an underground bait-and-switch operation beneath a corporate smile. They would rather let a guaranteed, ready-to-sign sale walk right out the door into the Saturday morning sun than allow a customer to see the real math. To the General Manager reading this: your team let a clean, done deal walk away today because they got caught red-handed running a cheap hustle, and they were too cowardly to face the music when unmasked. To the public: do not step foot on this lot. They do not see you as a customer. They see you as prey, and they count on you being too blind to see the trap. Stay far, far away.

I asked him for written details showing what was covered but he said he and the dealership did not have that. He insisted that the plan covered oil changes and transmission fluid changes. So I agreed to the coverage. The next day, my salesman was able to give me a document that detailed the coverage and I found it only covers oil changes. The dealership and salesperson George were excellent my name. My problem is with the service desk. I ordered some side rails and was quoted $200 for installation when the port came in and I went to have installed the service guy Mario tried to charge me $400. I told him that was not correct. They quoted me 200 and then he complied and it ended up being $213 but I feel he was trying to up the price to increase his commission on labor. I do not feel that is all at all proper. This one thing convince me not to go back to the dealership for any repairs other than a warranty issues. I'll see you like they definitely try to take advantage of me.Bad business practice.

We had such an amazing experience purchasing our vehicle with Chevrolet in Estero! My daughter desperately needed a new vehicle and Alvaro reached after our initial inquiry and even confirmed our appointment first thing in the morning. He was so patient with us, as we looked at quite a few vehicles. He was respectful and helped to guide us into the perfect vehicle for my daughter. This was her first new car and it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. After we purchased the car, we were sitting in the parking lot, (it was dark by then), familiarizing ourselves with all of the features and Alvaro stopped his car to make sure that we were safe and all was well before leaving for home. Requested a Voltec capacity test for my 2019 volt. The range has decreased significantly, and I wanted to check the Voltec battery while under warranty. I was offered an appointment for 11:00 AM on a Saturday. I asked how long the capacity test would take, and the advisor explained that a capacity test would take approximately four hours. She also explained that I would probably need to return on the next business day to pick up the car. This all worked, so I set up the appointment. I arrived at 10:45 AM on Friday. When I checked the car in, the service advisor asked me if it was the 12V battery or the Voltec that was problematic. I reiterated that it was the Voltec battery and asked if it would be ready this afternoon or next business day. The service advisor cautioned me that the EV tech was very busy, and it could be even two business days. This surprised me, as I had an appointment. This was a long weekend, so I checked the app Tuesday morning, and I noticed that my car had not been evaluated. In fact, it wasn't even inspected until sometime after 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Again, why set up a diagnostic appointment time if you don't intend to keep it? At 1:21 Tuesday afternoon, I received a text indicating that the car wasn't "throwing any codes." I asked if they had run the capacity test. When I didn't receive a response, I requested the capacity test report. No reply. I eventually spoke with the service advisor, who seemed unsure about why I was bringing the car in. It appeared to me that they had never run a capacity test on the car. I reminded him about the four-hour quote when the appointment was scheduled due to a Voltec test. I also reminded him that himself asked me if it were the 12V or Voltec battery. I reiterated that I needed an evaluation of the Voltec battery. He agreed (again). The next morning, I received a video recording of someone hold a cell-phone camera to a screen showing me the voltages of some of the cells of the battery. I never did receive a report; I infer that the cell-phone video represented the report that I requested. I drove down and picked up my car without incident that morning. I purchased my car at Estero Bay Chevrolet in 2019. I pass two GM dealers to have my car serviced there, even though I live in Cape Coral and the dealership is in Estero. This time was very different. The dealership has been sold to a new owner, and I am questioning whether this was a one-off negative experience or the new normal. I can't speak to that, but I won't be driving to this dealership for service from Cape Coral any longer. Heck, I don't know if I would drive to it if I lived in Estero.

Angel in sales was nothing short of excellent and his ability to deliver us top-notch service. Jorge was extremely helpful in answering all my questions during the test drive. The last 3 visits, including this one, the communicating and service has been awful. After the last visit I said I would not go back, but I figured 1 more try. Of course, same thing. I called numerous times to set up an appointment, no one answered telephone so I made appointment online. I get there today any they tell me no tech to diagnose the engineer trouble light. What a surprise. They want to keep the trick for multiple days to diagnose it. What am I suppose to do for transport to and from work for unknown timeframe. No customer friendly.

You book an appointment for 8 o’clock and it still takes 2 1/2 hours to get a tire rotation and an oil change. They should schedule appointments more efficiently or have an express oil change service that doesn’t require you to wait that long. Valvoline can change your oil while you’re sitting in the car.

I had a great 5-star experience with Estero Bay Chevrolet. Huge thanks to Marcus Veiga, Norman Marcano, Justin Nielsen from sales, and Will Barrios from finance. I wanted to take a moment to leave a true and honest review because my experience with Estero Bay Chevrolet was genuinely great. This was my first time shopping for a new car since moving from Pennsylvania, and honestly, my experience with some local dealers in Central Florida was disappointing. A lot of dealers advertise a low price just to bring customers in, but once you start working the numbers, they add random fees, packages, and options that make the advertised price feel untrue. There was very little transparency. I purchased a few new cars back in PA and mostly had no issues, so I was surprised by how difficult the process was here. I almost gave up until I contacted Estero Bay Chevrolet. The process with them was easy, straightforward, and transparent. No sketchy games, no confusing tactics — just clear communication and a polite, professional team. The pickup process was also quick and smooth. Norman was awesome — he explained everything clearly, went over the vehicle and the process in detail, and made sure I had no questions before leaving. I drove about 3 hours to pick up my new vehicle, and I have zero regrets. Overall, this was truly a 5-star experience.
